my dad and brother invited me to go to metropolis, ill with the. yeah. the home of superman. really. not kidding. but also the area is full of nature preserves. so i shot birds with my brother and he shot interesting wierd stuff with me. it was great fun. even a kyak trip in a swamp. amazing. the main events were, an abandoned farm house and a old filling station with relics, an antique store, and a midwestern pool party, that were on the way; a kyak trip in the swamp, bird shots in the nature preserve the last day and the superman museum and hollywood museum. unbelievable stuff. all of it. and lot's of good conversation with dad and mark. and dad got an ipad. wow. he's cool....no...he really is. breaking these up into seperate galleries....by NATURE, THE HOUSE AND PEOPLE AND THINGS.
